waves of light

Life is beautiful.

writing this, I'm listening to Pandora and Mia & Jonah's "Wave" is tearing into me. Music that stops me still and requires me to listen...listen....listen.  These are the "little" things to live for. Beauty and that ineffable something that opens all the heart doors for even a moment and floods all the light in.

It's so simple.

Just say thank you.

lots of gratitude for lots of things lately.  I'm discovering it's a much nicer place to be. In gratitude for what is here, instead of asking for anything more. Instead of "oh please, make this go away!" some amount of grace has swept in and I'm finding more and more courage to say yes to things coming my way. Getting it that if something hurts, it doesn't mean that something is wrong. Truly, it means that something is right. The sky is widening.  There is more room to fly.

and anyway, if I really pay attention....the beautiful, joy full surprises are everywhere and completely outnumber the harder bits, even if the harder bits pack a mightier punch.

like waking up the other morning to all these stunning little beauties singing their hearts out to the sky....(i'll have to learn how to link to my photos...so be patient) for now...up top
